HALLOWEEN MAGIC!

Welcome to MT’s Spooky Halloween Special!

As Halloween will soon be here, we thought we would let you know in good time, the terrifying tricks we have to offer, so you can frighten your friends and spook your spectators.

We have created a Halloween Magic range just for this month.

Magictricks.co.uk’s Suggested Spooky Magic

Ghost Vision - This is definately a trick for the more casual performer. Designed by Andrew Mayne, it is perfect for spooking your mates out on Halloween. You can borrow their mobile phone and either take a photo or create a movie using it. When you play it back to them, in the photo/video ghostly figures can be seen, despite the fact they have just seen you film/photograph that exact same area a few seconds prior and no one was there!

The Bicycle Haunted Deck - one, two or three cards are selected by the spectator and placed back inside the deck. You ask the spectator to concentrate on the deck, and eerily the chosen cards slide away from the rest of the deck by themselves.

The Web - known as the scariest card trick in the world! A trick that starts out innocently and ends with a big jump! You look as though you are performing a normal card trick, when you ask the spectator to wave their hand over the cards, they see they have a realistic spider on their hand! When performed in the right environment and on the right spectator you can get an incredible reaction!

 
Psychokinetic Touches -Banachek - This booklet gives you detailed instructions on how to make a spectator feel two solid taps on their body although know one is near them! Perfect for setting up your own sceance!
Haunted Key - this trick is great if you’re new to magic, it requires no skill and can scare your spectators. You can tell a story about the key being found to a haunted house. You then take the key and place it in your hand and by itself, the key mysteriously rolls over. It can be examined by the spectator at any point during the performance.

Criss Angel DVDs - If you looking for something to get you in the Halloween mood, take a look at our Criss Angel store. We have a variety of DVDs by the Mind Freak himself including his TV specials - Halloween and Supernatural as well as his highly acclaimed teaching DVD sets.

If your more of a practical joker we also have some gruesome tricks available that can be performed as practical/horror jokes. We have Nail Through Thumb - you allow the audience to examine a metal nail, then straight away snatch it from them and smash it through your thumb. They can visibly see the flesh has been penetrated. You remove the nail from your thumb and once again it can be inspected. We also have Knife Through Arm Surrounded. A little pricey for the practical joker but for stage performers a good investment, as it sure to make a few audience members scream!

Cryptext, Postmentalism, Captured, Magic Tricks and Derren Bown

We also have some fantastic New Mentalism Effects in stock too;Cryptext – is very fiting for anyone who does a Derren Brown style of mentalism show. This product is basically a font for your computer. You can use this font for many different types of routines for example, you ask a spectator his name, lets say the name is George which you write on a white board, you then perform a classic “add a number” routine and get a final figure. When you turn the board with ‘George’ on it upside down the font actually looks like a series of numbers, which would be your climax to your “add a number” routine. If you look at the picture on the left of this email it will give you a better idea of what it’s about. This font can be learnt so you can do it by hand or printed out. It’s a great idea and something different for your Mentalism routine which adds a extra kicker of an ending! Check out the site to see what we mean!Postmentalism by Alvo Stockman – This is another clever idea in for Metalists which allows you to predict ANYTHING in an unusual way! It’s not really ideal for corporate performances but great if you perform regularly for a person or group. We can see this going down really well if you are having a series of meetings with the same client. To the spectator you will create a miracle! Here’s what happens - you can make whatever prediction you like before an event eg football score, lottery numbers, election etc. You agree with a friend that in the interest of security neither of you should hold onto the prediction, so decide to post it in any post box. The day after the event, whether you are there or not, your friend receives your prediction in their own house through the post – 100% correct! It is an absolute stunner!!! How can this be…Captured – This is another incredible trick that is new to MagicTricks. You give the spectator something familiar to hold and concentrate on such as a deck of cards. A Polaroid camera is used to take a photo of your spectators, and incredibly their thoughts slowly and visually appear in the photo you have just taken of them! All they can do is stare in disbelief!

Autumn Magic Tricks
